Between July 29th and August 15th, the Africa Days international festival will take place in Vienna. Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to experience Africa’s life-style and culture first-hand.

The Festival will be held on the beautiful Danube Island in Vienna. Over the years it has gained an excellent reputation, attracting visitors from across Austria, Germany and around the world.

For 18 consecutive days visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to admire African culture, African cuisine, music, dance, handicrafts and modern design.

During the festival 36 captivating concerts will take place, with two music shows being held every evening, showcasing world-renowned singers and musicians, such as the son of the legendary Bob Marley, Julian Marley and the Grammy award-winning Reggae band, Inner Circle.

Moreover, provisions have been made for the parents, with an extensive children's program that provides entertainment for younger guests.

Last but not least, charity Mondays will take place on August 1st and August 8th, under the slogan "Austria for Africa”. On these open days, no admission fees are charged. Instead organizers are asked to make voluntary donations directly to charities working on site.

A detailed program, ticket information and further information can be accessed on the official site: www.afrika-tage.at
