Biography

His Royal Highness (HRH) Africa Zulu of Onkweni is a Zulu Prince and also the founder and Chairman of the Prince Africa Zulu Foundation Trust, which aims to aid development for rural communities.

Academic Career

HRH Africa Zulu attended University of Natal in Durban, South Africa where he studied Politics and Sociology. He descends from a long line of royalty.

Career

HRH Africa Zulu is Chairman of the Prince Africa Zulu Foundation Trust, which was launched in 2012; it builds the capacity and partnerships with rural individuals and communities to improve their living conditions and provide a platform for various groups to engage and develop common responses. He is also the Executive Director of the annual Onkweni Royal Cultural Festival in Ulundi, KwaZulu Natal, which showcases and supports traditional Zulu arts and culture and was founded to honour the life of his ancestors. As a member of the royal family and directly related to King Shaka Zulu, he travels to different countries and attends various social events. He is also very engaged in trying to find solutions that do not pose a threat to the environment, which are necessary for the development of life in rural and urban areas.
