Biography

Judge Abdulkadir Ilhabi is the deputy Chief of Justice in the Supreme Court of Turkey

Academic Career

Mr. Ilhabi graduated from Bayburt High School in Ankara, and he studied Law at Ankara University. 

Career

Mr. Ilhabi was elected to be a member of the High Court on July 25, 2005. During his tenure he was elected as a deputy president of the High Supreme Court by the General Board of the High Supreme Court in November 2012 and has held this position since then. Having begun his career as a judge nominee in Trabzon, he served as a Public Prosecutor in Konya, Bozova, Doğubeyazıt as; a Justice Inspectorate, a Rapporteur Judge in Ministry of Justice, Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor in Antalya, Chief Public Prosecutor in Çanakkale, and as Chief Public Prosecutor in Bursa, respectively.
