Biography

Mr. Fejzullah Hasani is the President of the Supreme Court in Kosovo.

Academic Career

In 1984 Mr. Hasani graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Pristina. Fejzullah Hasani obtained a Master Degree from the Criminal Justice Department of the Faculty of Law, where he would also receive his PhD in 2009 as a Doctor of Judicial Sciences (Dr.sc.). Since 2006 he has been a professor at AAB University.

Career

After graduating, he worked as a Legal Secretary in Kamenica, where a few years later he would become a Judge at the Municipal Court in Kamenica. He became president of the Municipal Court in 2002, and from 2002, Second Judge at the District Court in Gjilan. In 2003, he became a Judge at the Kosovo Supreme Court and from 2009 the Deputy President at the Kosovo Supreme Court. In 2010 he became the President of the Court. Currently he also works as a professor at AAB University. Mr. Hasani also trains judges and prosecutors at the Kosovo Judicial Institute. His current functions include President-Kosovo Supreme Court, President of the board -for jurisprudence exam. Mr. Hasani has also been a Member of the Managing Board at Kosovo Judicial Institute since 2010.
