President of Pakistan Meets Delegation of Turkish Company

The Delegation of Turkish KOC Holding Company Talked to the President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain

On 24th August, the President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain, met the delegation of Turkish KOC Holding Company. The two parties met to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan in a corporate cultural diplomacy event.

President Mamnoon Hussain stated that international investors are turning towards Pakistan, indicating that the situation in the country has significantly improved to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs.

Given the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey, the President added that Turkish investors should benefit from Pakistan’s business-friendly policies in various sectors. In this way, the bilateral relations will be further strengthened. The President also said that Pakistan offers great opportunities for investment in its energy generation and infrastructure projects.

For his part, the representative of the Turkish delegation, President of the KOC Holding Company, Fatih Kemal Ebiclioglu, thanked the President and assured that they would induce other Turkish investors to invest in Pakistan.

KOC Holding is Turkey’s Leading Investment Holding Company and is the only Turkish company to be listed in the Fortune Global 500 list.

The event in itself represented more than an opportunity to strengthen the economic relations between the two countries. It was also about renewing the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey through an event which outlined the importance of corporate cultural diplomacy.
