The Hon. Governor Azeema Adam is the Governor at the central bank Maldives Monetary Authority.

Academic Career

The Hon. Governor Azeema Adam holds a MA degree in International Development and Finance from the University of Leicester as well as a PhD in Economics from the University of Canberra.

Career

The Hon. Governor Azeema Adam has previously held the positions of assistant governor and chief economist at the Maldives Monetary Authority before becoming the Governor.
