BBU has a campus in Berlin

The campus of BBU within the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin was inaugurated yesterday, March the 4th.

The event was attended by a large public, with guests coming from the diplomatic and political area, students and representatives of  media from the German capital.

„The inauguration of the BBU Berlin campus constitutes a new effort of the leadership of Babeș Boylai University in developing new international partnerships in order to ensure a high quality of the educational process and scientific research along with developing an extended communication both on European and international level.

Thus new integrative scientific and cultural programs are created in cooperation with European and global partners and therefore new opportunities for the BBU alumni”

BBU has an ongoing Cultural Diplomacy Masters Programme along with the institute for Cultural Diplomacy. The inauguration of the campus marks the extension of the programme to BA and PHD level along with extensive research within areas such as applied science in International Relations, Political Science, European studies, Communication and Business.

Between the 4th and the 7th of March 2015 the Rector of BBU Ioan Aurel-Pop and the Director of the Institute for Cultural Dplomacy BBU, Vasile Pușcaș are attending the Berlin Economic Forum. Within this context, the rector of BBU will give a lecture “History and Nation Branding – The Romanian Case” while professor Vasile Pușcaș, former chief negotiator of Romania with the EU (200-2004) and former minister of European Affairs (2009), will speak about “Nation and Interconnectedness”.
