Biography

Petra Wadström is the creator and CEO of Solvatten AB, a water purifying product that is widely in use in regions vulnerable to drought.

Career

Petra Wadström worked for many years as an artist and designer. Since founding Solvatten, Petra Wadström has been awarded the Create Prize and one of the nominees for Business Week’s Green Capitalist. She was also awarded the Polhemsplatsen Prize in 2013 and has also met with US President Barack Obama to demonstrate Solvatten.
