Rashid Bin Ali Al-Mansoori

Biography

Al-Mansoori graduated in 1987 with a Bsc degree in Computer and Management Sciences and is specialized in the fields of administration, IT and Financial Services.

He started his career with Qatar Petroleum, where he held various leading financial positions. After this he was employed as the Head of Applied Systems by the Ministry of Interior of Qatar. He was also a Director of Information Technology for Qatar Olympics Committee and Qatar Investment Authority, where he was responsible for establishing the IT department and setting investment and financial system applications. He also served as a Director of Dlala Brokerage and Investments Holding Company Q.S.C. In 2011 he started working for Qatar Stock Exchange, initially as the Deputy CEO and then as CEO, a position he has held since October 2012. He is an active member and director of the World Federation of Exchanges and a member of the Qatar Financial Centre Authority. He formerly served as a board member in various Qatari companies and governmental institutions. He also represents the Education and Health Fund at Ministry of Finance.
