Biography

Silvio de Girolamo has twenty years of experience in the field of Internal Auditing, of Compliance, of Systems of Internal Control, of Risk and Sustainability Management.  Mr De Girolamo currently holds the position of  Group Chief Internal Audit & CSR Officer for Autogrill, a leading company in food & beverage services for travelers. 

Career

Prior to his current position, Silvio de Girolamo worked in a wide variety of multinational organisations, including the Italian energy oil company ENI S.p.A. and the American company 3M Minnesota Manufacturing developing twenty years of experience in the field of Sustainability, Corporate Governance, Internal Auditing and Risk Management.

Mr de Girolamo is also Member of Supervisory Board (D. Lgs 231) Autogrill S.p.A. and Member of Supervisory Board Autogrill Austria and AC Holding Nederland. He holds various positions within professional organizations:

A.I.I.A General Secretary; CAE Chief Audit Executive Membership; Responsible C.A.E. Program IIA - Italian Chapter; Management Committee Member of the Supervisory Board Association (AODV 231); Member of CSR Manager Network; Stakeholder Council Member Global Reporting Initiative.

Silvio de Girolamo is lecturer in national and international conferences and event concerning Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Compliance, and Systems of Internal Control and Sustenaibility.
